Iran to inaugurate 88 industrial projects by March 19‎

Iran plans to inaugerate 88 giants industrial projects by the end of current iranian ‎calendar year (March 19), Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade said on ‎Sunday.‎

The developments plans of some 188 industrial projects are underway and 88 of ‎the will come on stream by the end of current (Iranian) year, the IRNA News ‎Agency quoted Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin as saying.‎

Iran had already inaugurated some 370 industrial and mineral projects, valued at ‎around 50 trillion rials (almost $4 billion) in June. The projects created nearly ‎‎23,000 jobs. Industrial production in Iran has been on the rise during the past few ‎months. ‎

Iran's mineral and industrial exports are expected to top $30 billion by the end of ‎this calendar year (March 20), according to the vice president for planning affairs.‎

Davood Manzoor told the IRNA News Agency that mineral and industrial exports ‎from Iran were expanding and that global sanctions have not prevented the country ‎from boosting exports.‎

Manzoor was referencing a recent report released by the Iranian Customs ‎Administration that quantified the Islamic Republic's trade during the first 10 ‎months of this calendar year.‎
