Iran to inaugurate 88 industrial projects by March 19

Iran plans to inaugerate 88 giants industrial projects by the end of current iranian calendar year (March 19), Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade said on Sunday.
The developments plans of some 188 industrial projects are underway and 88 of the will come on stream by the end of current (Iranian) year, the IRNA News Agency quoted Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin as saying.
Iran had already inaugurated some 370 industrial and mineral projects, valued at around 50 trillion rials (almost $4 billion) in June. The projects created nearly 23,000 jobs. Industrial production in Iran has been on the rise during the past few months.
Iran's mineral and industrial exports are expected to top $30 billion by the end of this calendar year (March 20), according to the vice president for planning affairs.
Davood Manzoor told the IRNA News Agency that mineral and industrial exports from Iran were expanding and that global sanctions have not prevented the country from boosting exports.
Manzoor was referencing a recent report released by the Iranian Customs Administration that quantified the Islamic Republic's trade during the first 10 months of this calendar year.
