The average monthly nominal wage of employed citizens in 2011 amounted to 636 lari ($1 = 1.66 lari), which is 6.4 percent more compared to the previous year, Georgian Statistic officesaid on Monday.
In 2011, the average monthly salary of employed men was 771.1 lari (3.8 percent increase), and women - 460.2 lari (7.9 percent more).
In 2011, the average monthly nominal wage of employees in the business sphere was 622.6 lari (five percent increase over the previous year), and in the non-entrepreneurial sector - 681.1 lari (nine percent more).
