Iran and Egypt plan to resume their economic ties in near future, the Deputy Head of Iran Exports Confederation Seyyed Reza Noorani said.

"The Egyptians plan to import Iranian kiwi and apple, they have suggested to export citrus to Tehran," he added.

Iran plans to diversify the destinations of its agricultural product exports.

Khalilian did not mention specific values of exports and imports, but said that the exports included 77 million tons of farming crops, 18.3 million tons of garden products, 720,000 tons of fishery products, and 14.3 million tons of anima products.
