Imports of genetically modified seeds and seedlings will be banned to Georgia, the new Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili told reporters on Friday.
According to him, the country mandatory labelling of genetically modified products will also be adopted in the country.
"The government will contribute to the preservation of local cultures and development of bio farms," he said.
