Demolition of complex of five-storey Khrushchev buildings in 3rd microdistrict of Baku is proposed, Director of Design Institute Bakıdövlətlayihə under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan Ilgar Isbatov said during public discussions in Baku.
"It is proposed to construct new buildings on their place," Isbatov said.
He added that this scenario hasn't been included in the plan of the Greater Baku, but is one of the options.
As previously Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov said demolition of Khrushchev buildings is not planned in Baku yet.
