Apple's iPad Mini hits stores dateline

Apple's new tablet the iPad Mini began to sell in Apple Stores on Friday, Xinhua reported.

Many Apple fans set up camps outside various Apple shops days ago to be the first ones to get the latest gadget!

The much-anticipated smaller version of iPad tablet computer was introduced late last month.

It works like the iPad, but is smaller and is half its weight.

"I know for a fact that Steve Jobs didn't approve of getting iPad mini. So that's I think the reason why the company is falling down a little bit. But that isn't concern me cause they have be making very good product since day one I brought the first iPhone, I brought the first iPad, and I enjoy both products", said Christopher Moreles.

"I am looking for this. it has more capacity, 64G and you can travel with it, grab it with one hand. So it is a litter bit better to work with, and you know, to play around with it", Francisco Naranjo.

The new launch is to further marginalize its competitors in the tablet market.

Some analysts has called the iPad mini the "worst nightmare" for Apple's competitors as companies like Google and Amazon were also using low-priced and small size products to fight for the tablet market left by iPad.

Analysts predict Apple's new lineup of devices including the iPad mini will maintain the company's market momentum.
