Kyrgyz textile and sewing production decreased by 21 percent during the first nine months of 2012, compared to a similar period of 2011, KyrTAG reported on Tuesday.
The reason is the decrease in purchasing this production by Russian entrepreneurs, as well as the decrease of demand for sewing production.
The production is also affected by the toughen rules within the customs union.
The industry's index in Kyrgyz GDP decreased up to 14 percent during the first nine month of the year.
