Husein Ozmen appointed new CEO of Azerbaijan Senaye Bank, a statement said on Tuesday.
Ozmen graduated from the Academy of Economic Sciences and Commercial Sciences in Ankara in "World Economy." He has 28 years of experience in banking. Ozmen started its activities in the banking sector in Turkey as a specialist at the central bank, and then as inspector at Ziraat Bank, where he later held a management position.
Ozmen was Chairman of the Board of Azer-Turk Bank and Turan Bank in Azerbaijan. He also worked as first deputy chairman of the Executive Credit Agency on microcredit in agriculture, created with support of the World Bank and the Government of Azerbaijan. Ozmen was chairman of the microfinance non-bank credit organizations, which were implementing project on agriculture development.
Azerbaijan Senaye Bank began operations in 1996. As of November 1, assets totaled 155.9 million manat, deposit portfolio - 82.2 million manat, credit portfolio - 127.5 million manat, the share capital - 28 million manat.
There are branches, 33 ATMs and 615 POS-terminals of Azerbaijan Senaye Bank in the republic. The bank has 30,000 users of plastic cards, a total client base includes 50,000.
