Asian Markets account for 95 percent of Iran's exports

The Asian markets account for 95.4 percent of Iran's exports, in terms of volume, in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year, which began March 20, the ISNA News Agency reported.

Asian countries also accounted for 92.7 percent of Iran's total exports' value.

Iran also exported 2 percent (in terms of value) and 4.3 percent (in terms of volume) of its products to Europe.

Iran exported over 25 million dollar worth of non-oil goods in the first seven months of current Iranian calendar year.

The figure shows 33 percent increase compared to the same period of time previous year.

Iran plans to exports 51 million dollars worth of non-oil goods and technical and engineering services by the end of current year (march 19, 2013)

"Iran earned 4 million dollars last year by exporting technical and engineering services to over 60 countries," deputy head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran Kioumars Kermanshahi said in October.

Iran exported $43.7 billion worth of non-oil goods last year and imported $61.8 billion worth of goods, to hit the unprecedented mark of $105 billion in annual trade.
