The Extraordinary General Shareholders' meeting of Kazakhstan's Halyk Savings Bank elected a new member of the Bank's Board of Directors, the bank reported on Monday.
Chairman of the Management Board and member of the Board of Directors of Halyk Bank's main shareholder Holding Group Almex Zhomart Nurabayev was elected to this post.
Nurabayev will represent interest of Holding Group Almex in Halyk Bank's Board of Directors.
Meanwhile, the authorities of member of Halyk Bank's Board of Directors Kairat Satylganov were early terminated at his own initiative. Satylganov served as the member of the Board of Directors of Halyk Bank from November 2004.
Halyk Bank is the Kazakh commercial savings bank. It is the third largest bank in Kazakhstan by a volume of business activity and a key universal financial institution.
