Coverage of information systems agreed in Azerbaijan integrates with address register

The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has determined the coverage zone of information systems of other public bodies which will be integrated with the address register, the text of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers said today.

The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has determined the coverage zone of information systems of other public bodies which will be integrated with the address register, the text of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers said today.

The Cabinet of Ministers instructed the State Property Committee to take measures with the relevant bodies to ensure data exchange between the address registry and information systems of 34 state agencies. In particular, the state register of administrative territorial units, the state register of the population, a single information register of inspections in the business area, automated registration system on 'Acts of citizenship', an electronic database of notarial documents, the e-government portal, automated taxes information system, e-services portal and the state register of real estate.

Previously, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree amending the Rules of Registry addresses and the address assignment to the property in the country.

A decision of the Cabinet of Ministers was taken in accordance with the presidential decree.
The State Committee has prepared a new design of address boards that will be installed in the streets and avenues and submitted it to the Cabinet of Ministers. Along with the architectural style of the city, while developing the address boards, modern designs were found, the report said.

After the samples are approved, South Korea will soon begin producing the new signs. At the initial stage according to the new rules, the names and numbers will be assigned to the entrance of the building in around 80 streets and avenues of Baku.

According to the changes, the objects of transport infrastructure are coded and the figures are entered into the database to keep the register.

For this purpose, the State Committee previously announced tender to establish an information system of an address register in Azerbaijan, won by the Korean company SK C & C Co. LTD. The company has already started the relevant work and the system is planned to be launched in early 2013.
