Uzbek sum/$1 exchange rate reduces by 10.6 per cent in 2012

The official exchange rate of the Uzbek sum determined by the Central Bank of the Republic fell by 10.6 per cent in 2012 compared to the U.S. dollar, from 1.795 sums per $1 on January 1, 2012 to 1.985.46 sums per $1 on January 1, 2013.

It was reported that in 2011, the national currency exchange rate to the U.S. dollar fell by 9.5 per cent from 1.640 sums / $1 to 1.795 sums / $1, in 2010 by 8.5 per cent from 1.511.4 sums / $ 1 up to 1.640 sums / $ 1, in 2009 by 8.5 per cent (from 1.393 sums / $ 1 to 1.511.4 sums / $ 1.

The euro exchange rate compared to the sum in 2013 decreased by 12.1 per cent (by 8.2 per cent in 2011), from 2.341.97 sum / 1 EUR to 2.625.93 sum / 1 euro. It reduced compared to the Russian ruble by 13.4 per cent (7.1 per cent during the previous year) from 57.43 sums / 1 ruble to 65.14 sums / 1 ruble, the Chinese yuan by 12.3 per cent (14.6 per cent) from 283.62 sums / 1 yuan to 318.60 sums / 1 yuan.
