A new power-efficient glass plant will be launched in Kazakh city of Astana in the first half of 2013, Astana's official website reported on Tuesday.
Currently the plant is under construction.
"The plant will be the first facility producing safety glass and heat-saving double-panes in the country. According to the plant's management the plant's products will have no competitors at the market," the website said.
The glass production will meet all global energy-saving technologies.
