Iran shoes exports hit $94 million

Iran exported over 94.5 million dollars' worth of shoes in the first nine months of the current Iranian Calendar year which began March 20, 2012.
The amount shows a 6.9 per cent decrease compared to the same period last year, the ISNA News Agency reported.
Iraq and Afghanistan were the major destination markets for Iranian-made shoes. Iraq's imports accounted for 56 per cent of Iran's total shoes exports.
Iran currently exports 30 per cent of its total shoes output. Domestic production accounts for 90 per cent of the country's shoes consumption
