Azerbaijani insurance company Standard Insurance plans to develop its sales online in 2013, company chairman Kamal Ibrahimov told Trend today.

"We are basically working on traditional sales channels for our country - office sales and agents", he said. "But we do not want to forget about our other channel, which is becoming more and more relevant every year -sales through the Internet. We plan to pay more attention to online sale development in our sale system this year and in the future."
He added that the company intends to launch some modules of Internet services for customers by late 2013.

"Today, we have automated almost the entire process," he said. "The test-period has started this year. Naturally, one has to make changes and additions as well as integrate into a variety of programs of related organizations from time to time. But, in general, work is satisfactory. By the end of the year, we are going to launch some modules of Internet services for customers."

One of the Azerbaijani largest insurance companies - Standard Insurance has been operating on the market since 2002. The company provides 28 types of insurance.
