Georgia's foreign trade turnover ups by 11 per cent

According to preliminary information, Georgia's foreign trade turnover amounted to $10.22 billion in 2012, or 11 per cent more than last year, Georgian Statistics Service said on Friday.

Some $2.377 billion (a 9-percent increase) accounted for exports, while $7.842 billion (a 11-percent increase) - for imports.

Negative trade balance hit $5.465 billion, which is 53.5 per cent of total foreign trade balance
