ICAO experts to help Kazakh aviation resolve flight limits to the EU

Specialists of the Technical Cooperation Bureau at the Montreal based International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) are to work with Kazakh civil aviation industry experts in Astana, the press service of Kazakhstan’s Transport and Communications Ministry said.

Specialists of the Technical Cooperation Bureau at the Montreal based International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) are to work with Kazakh civil aviation industry experts in Astana, the press service of Kazakhstan's Transport and Communications Ministry said.

"ICAO experts will provide consultative assistance in areas of flight operations, airworthiness control, aviation personnel licensing, security of air navigation services, security and certification of airports," the company's press service said.

The experts will pay special attention to the development of qualified human resources and work with them in Kazakhstan's civil aviation industry.

'In addition, ICAO experts in conjunction with Kazakh specialists will develop recommendations to improve the current legislation on civil aviation in accordance with international standards', the report says.

It should be remembered that the ICAO experts are being invited to Kazakhstan to hold consultations to address audit observations and removing restrictions on flights of Kazakhstan airlines to European Union countries.

The invited experts have extensive experience in civil aviation, practical experience in providing consultations and assistance on implementation and introduction of ICAO recommendations in 94 countries.
