Kazakh foreign trade turnover increased by 10.9 percent to $125.2 billion for 11 months during 2012, Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Erbolat Dosayev said today.
Exports of goods increased by 6.3 percent ($84.9 billion) compared to the same period of last year. Imports increased by 21.9 percent ($40.3 billion). The positive trade balance was $44.6 billion.
Kazakhstan's mutual trade with Customs Union countries (Russia and Belarus) in January-November 2012 amounted to $ 22.1 billion and increased by 4.8 percent compared to the same period of 2011. There is the negative trade balance.
Exports to the Customs Union countries hit $ 6.3 billion for these 11 months of last year and decreased by 7.3 percent. Imports from the Customs Union countries hit $15.9 billion and increased by 10.5 percent.
