The Azerbaijani-Hungarian business forum has been held with the support of the Economic Development Ministry and organized by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) today. A protocol of the meeting of the Subcommittee on Agriculture, established within the Azerbaijani-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission was signed, the ministry said today.

The Azerbaijani-Hungarian business forum has been held with the support of the Economic Development Ministry and organized by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) today. A protocol of the meeting of the Subcommittee on Agriculture, established within the Azerbaijani-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission was signed, the ministry said today.

Besides officials, representatives of the companies from both sides, representing the areas of agriculture, construction, food industry, ICT, etc. attended the event.

Deputy Economic Development Minister Niyazi Safarov stressed the importance of events in expanding trade and economic relations. He said that today's business meeting will be productive in creating new opportunities for cooperation and expanding the existing relations.

Hungarian Secretary of State for Rural Development Gyula Budaini stressed that Hungary attaches great importance to the cooperation with Azerbaijan, great potential for further expansion of economic relations and stressed the importance of a business meeting in this regard.

AZPROMO head Rufat Mammadov spoke about Azerbaijan's economic success, favorable business and investment sphere, major projects. Stressing that Azerbaijan is an attractive and favorable country for foreign investments, he invited Hungarian businessmen for active cooperation.

The detailed information about Azerbaijan's investment opportunities was disseminated and the issues of interest to the Hungarian businessmen were voiced at the event.
