Iran exports goods worth $0.5 million to US in January

Iran exported goods worth $500,000 to the US in January.

Tehran imported goods worth $11.3 million from Washington in the mentioned period, which marks the overall trade value of $11.8 million, the ISNA News Agency reported.

Based on the statistics released by an American organization, Iran imported over 135,000 tons of goods worth some $126.8 million from US in the first eleven months of the current Iranian calendar year, which began on March 20, 2012.

The two countries' overall trade stood at $252.3 million in 2012.

US's exports accounted for $250.2 million of the mentioned amount.

It is while the Iranian Customs Administration announced on March 10 that the country imported over 135,000 tons of goods worth some $126.8 million from the US in the first eleven months of the current Iranian calendar year, which began on March 20, 2012.

The American goods were exported to Iran indirectly from different countries.

Iran's exports to the US also stood at $1.2 million in the mentioned period.

Tehran exported 425 tons of goods to Washington in the eleven-month time span.
