Azerbaijani AtaSığorta assets increase by more than 55 per cent

Assets of Azerbaijani insurance company AtaSığorta amounted to 15.15 million AZN by the end of 2012, compared to 9.75 million AZN at the beginning of last year, increasing by 55.38 per cent, according to the balance sheet of the company published in the official press.

The AtaSığorta financial statement is audited by the Azəri-Audit Company.

Accordingto the balance sheet, the long term assets of the company at the end of 2012 amounted to 2.06 million manat, increasing by 66.7 per cent and the short term ones - 13.1 million manat with an annual growth of 53.8 per cent.

In 2012, 10.76 million AZN was accumulated in cash and cash equivalents, including 10.39 million AZN at deposit accounts and 1.05 million AZN in private securities.

The paid up authorised capital of AtaSığorta, up to 2012, comprised 6.6 million manat compared to five million manat in 2011. The company finished 2012 with a net profit of 0.474 million manat.

The aggregate capital at the end of the last year was 6.9 million AZN having increased in comparison with 2011 by 27.16 per cent.

The aggregate liabilities of the company amounted to 8.252 million manat, increasing by nearly 91 per cent, and capital obligations in total constituted 15.15 million manat, increasing by 55.38 per cent.

The company's revenues last year amounted to 8.672 million manat and expenditures 8.12 million manat.

AtaSigorta insurance under the Ata Holding Group has operated on the insurance market since 2004. The company offers 26 kinds of insurance services four of which are mandatory.

AtaSığorta is one of the founders and member of the Bureau for Compulsory Insurance. The company's service network consists of four branches and four representative offices
