Some 13.37 million tons of cargo were transported by vehicles through the territory of Azerbaijan in January-April 2013, which is 0.01 percent more than in the same period of last year, the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee said today.
According to the report, the export of goods for this period comprised 10.64 million tons and imports - 2.73 million tons.
During the first four months, some 10.64 million tons of cargo were exported by maritime transport, 850,840 tons by railway, 176,120 tons - by automobile transport, 24,900 tons by air.
Around 9.51 million tons of cargo were transported by stationary vehicles.
Around 497,840 tons of cargo were imported by maritime transport, 1.68 million tons - by railway, 528,260 tons - by automobile transport, 6,620 tons of cargo - by air.
