Azerbaijani insurance company expands its branch network in regions

Azerbaijani insurance company AtaSigorta JSC intends to expand its branch network in the country, Deputy Chairman of the Board Orhan Mammadov told Trend.

The company has four branches in Baku, Sumgait, Shamkir, Khachmaz and four representative offices in Goychay, Shamakhi, Zagatala and Lankaran.

"In the near future, the company plans to open a new branch in the southern region of the country. We will continue this process in order to increase the capacity and improve the quality of services provided to our clients," Mammadov said.
According to him, the company's future activities will focus primarily on the work with the public.

"We are focused on the development of retail sales, but that does not mean we are forgetting about our corporate clients. We will direct our work to make insurance more massive and extend the coverage of individuals," Mammadov said.

Today, about 30 percent of the company's customer base accounts for individual clients and 70 percent - for corporate clients.

AtaSigorta, a part of the AtaHolding group of companies, has been operating in the insurance market since 2004 and renders 22 types of voluntary and four types of compulsory insurance. AtaSigorta is the founding member of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau.
