The package of general insurance was expanded in Georgia from July 1.
As the Minister of Health, Labour and Social Welfare, David Sergeenko told journalists on Monday, the project being carried out currently has only three components. These are a planned outpatient clinic, emergency outpatient clinic and emergency hospital.
"From July 1, another component namely the planned hospital will be added. In terms of volume this component considerably exceeds the complete package of insurance services meaning the volume of aid is increased by several times," Sergeenko said.
The benefits for socially vulnerable families received as from July 1 is also increased.
