State Committee: Over 80,000 objects of property registered in Azerbaijan since early 2013

"Over 81,000 objects of property were registered in Azerbaijan in January- June 2013," deputy chief of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Property Issues Rafig Jalilov said on Thursday during the presentation of the "Strategy of the State Committee on Property Issues for 2013- 2017" project.

"We have recently reached the record indices on the rate of property registration," he said. "Some 120,000 objects of property were registered in 2008. In 2012 the figure reached 151,000 objects of property. Taking into account the indices as of the first six months of the current year, we expect to reach more impressing results in 2013."

According to him, achievements in the sphere of property registration reflect the country's comprehensive development, reached under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.

"Moreover, this progress testifies to the successful measures, taken by the State Committee," he added. "The State Committee on Property Issues permanently works to develop of its activity, including the rendered electronic services. The Committee works to establish and to develop the electronic archives, electronic cadastre system, as well as uniform electronic and information system. This system is planned to be completed by late 2014."
