The American Chamber of Commerce will participate in a "Gate keeping" project which is jointly implemented by World Vision Azerbaijan and UAFA.

Low-income families, children with disabilities living in UAFA CBR centers in Baku, Siyezen and Lankaran benefited from the services of social workers and from gracious donations of ICT Committee Members of the American Chamber of Commerce which donated 77 Acer tablets, 10 notebooks by Deloitte & Touche, 2 PCs from BestComp, 10 USB internet modems from Azerfon, 7 USB modems from Bakcell and 5 USB modems from Azercell, AmCham said today.

The use of computers by families of children with disabilities will lead to effective time spending and assistance in making friends, communication, keeping them informed about relevant government agencies and other benefits provided for them, the news and children's disability in order to change public attitude towards the right understanding.

AmCham would like to express gratitude to the ICT Committee for their generous donations and support and looking forward to hosting a lot of charity events

Some of the equipment (15 pc tablet), will be donated to 15 children on July 29th, at 12.00 at the Nizami Rehabilitation Center.
