The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan has issued a permanent license for the activities of Qala Heyat insurance company, the State Insurance Supervision Service under the Ministry said in a report published on its website on Tuesday.
"The license was issued to the company on July 29, 2013 in connection with the expiration of the previous permit and in accordance with the law "On insurance activity", the report says.
Qala Heyat insurance company was founded by the only reinsurance company AzRe and is authorized to render services on four voluntary and one compulsory types of insurance. Qala Heyat was established through the transformation of Qala Sigorta. The company started active operations in 2011.
