24,370 cars worth a total of $228.22 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January-July 2013, according to a report posted on website of GruzStat (National Statistical Service of Georgia).
According to the report, the specific weight of this category of goods amounted to 57.52 per cent of the total volume of exports from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January-July 2013.
The volume of car exports from Georgia increased by 22.05 per cent and quantitatively by 23.09 per cent compared to the same period of 2012. For comparison 19,800 cars were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan which amounted to $186.98 million in January-July, 2012.
2.130 trucks were exported to Azerbaijan worth a total amount of $14.37 million in seven months of 2013 which is 23.71 per cent lower (quantitatively by 13.16 per cent more) compared to the same period of 2012. For comparison: 1.880 trucks amounting to $18.83 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January-July 2012.
In January-July, 2013, $396.78 million worth of goods was exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan. This was 26.9 per cent of the total volume of the country's exports during the reported period.
Exports to Azerbaijan increased by 14.72 per cent compared to the same period of 2012. For comparison: $345.86 million worth of Georgian goods was exported to Azerbaijan in January-July, 2012.
