Kyrgyz GDP volume grows by 8 percent

The volume of GDP in Kyrgyzstan in January-August grew by 8 percent compared to the similar period of 2013, KyrTAG reported on Tuesday with reference to the country's statistics committee.

The figure reached 198,287 million soms.

The GDP volume grew by 5.9 percent, excluding the profit of the Kumtor gold mines development companies.

The industrial production volume in Kyrgyzstan increased by 16.2 percent. The growth is observed in other areas of economy, such as processing industry, agriculture, construction, services, communication and other.
