The Slovak capital Bratislava, will host a business forum organised within the seventh Cooperation Fair on November 20, 2013, a message from the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Fund (AZPROMO) published on Monday said.
'The forum will be dedicated to the topics of engineering, mechanical engineering, food industry, electronics, chemistry, infrastructure, ICT and others. Azerbaijani entrepreneurs are invited to participate at the business forum', the message said.
Today, several Slovak companies successfully operate in the Azerbaijani market. Earlier, Slovakia expressed its readiness to cooperate with Azerbaijan in the spheres of energy, construction of hydro power stations, agriculture and environmental protection.
As of January-August, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Slovakia increased by 16.5 per cent compared to the same period of 2012 amounting to $17.97 million. Trade relations between the countries were provided mainly through import transactions which hit $17.97 million with the same growth rate of 16.5 per cent.
