The Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development has announced a tender for the procurement of works for the construction of a storm sewerage network at the Sumgait chemical industrial park over an area of 167.77 hectares, the tender commission's report published in the official press on Tuesday said.
The bids must be submitted to the office of LLC Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park (address: Baku, Khojaly Avenue 37, Demirchi Tower) no later than 17:00, November 12 2013, the report said.
Bid opening will be held at the office of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park at 12:00, November 13, 2013.

The Decree of the President of Azerbaijan on the establishment of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park was issued in December 2011. According to the Decree, the Ministry of Economic Development was instructed to implement measures that support the creation and development of production and processing areas related to chemical industry at Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park in order to enhance the potential of the chemical industry, establish private enterprises in the field and obtain competitive products from local raw materials.
