Azerbaijani state non-bank credit organization increases lending volumes

The Azerbaijani state non-bank credit organization AqrarKredit delivered loans worth 17 million manat for the first nine months, slightly exceeding the figure for the same period of last year, the company's board member Suleyman Kalyashev told Trend on Friday.

The company plans to issue loans worth 20-21 million manat by late 2013.

"This will be possible taking into account the loan delivered by the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund, as well as 3-4 million that we will get within the International Fund for Agricultural Development's (IFAD) project on supporting the development of the agrarian sector in Oguz, Sheki, Agdash and Yevlakh regions," Kalyashev said.

According to him, the company got net profit worth 757,000 manat for the first nine months.

"It is planned to get profit worth 520,000 manat as of late 2013," he added. "I think that we will achieve this index."

AqrarKredit's main shareholder is the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance, which owns 99.9 percent of the shares of the credit organization, and the remaining shares are equally divided between AzerSıgorta state insurance company and Irrigation and Water Management company.

The official exchange rate is 0,7845 AZN/USD on Oct. 5.
