The foreign debt limit in Azerbaijan's state budget in 2014 increased by 2.67 times compared to 2013, the state budget project for the next year reads.

If the foreign limit in the budget of 2013 is set at 750 million manat, it will increase to 2 billion manat in 2014. The domestic debt limit was established at 1.2 billion manat.

The government plans to spend some 780.5 million manat to service the country's debt, about 697.2 million of which will be spent to service foreign debt in 2014.

According to the prognosis for 2014, expenses in connection with international activities and membership fees to international organizations are 205.4 million manat. It is planned to allocate around 60 million manat to finance international and domestic events in 2014.

The official exchange rate on October 8 is 0.7845 AZN/USD.
