The Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development has announced a number of tenders for constructing water supply lines on several lots, as well as the construction of an administrative building on the territory of Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park to an area of 167.77 hectares, the tender commission's message said on Friday.
According to the message, the cost of participation in the tenders for each lot is 500 manats.
The first tender includes conducting work for the construction of a 16-storey administrative building at the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park.
Bids, valid for at least 30 business days from the date of opening and backed by a bank guarantee to the sum of one per cent of their value (valid for at least 60 business days from the date of bid opening) must be submitted to the commission no later than November 20, 2013. Bid openings will be held on November 21, 2013, at 12:00.

According to the message the tender for construction of various purpose water pipes includes four lots:
- Lot # 1: construction of drinking water supply network;
- Lot # 2: construction of technical fire-prevention water supply system;
- Lot # 3: construction of fire-prevention water supply network;
- Lot # 4: construction of water supply network for chemical waste.
Tender offers, valid for at least 30 business days from the date of opening and backed by a bank guarantee to the sum of one per cent of their value (valid for at least 60 business days from the date of bid opening) should be submitted to the office of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park LLC (address: Baku, Khojaly Avenue, 37, 20th floor) no later than November 19, 2013, 17:00. Opening of bids will be held on November 20, at 12:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00 on each lot respectively.
