Over 4000 business entities registered in Georgia in September

Some 4313 business entities were registered in Georgia in September, 97.2 per cent of which are entrepreneurial such as individual entrepreneurs, companies with solid liability, companies with limited liability, joint stock companies and corporations. Around 2.8 per cent are non-entrepreneurial legal entities, branches of foreign non-entrepreneurial legal entities and legal bodies in public law.
The monthly registration index of business entities amounted to 0.985 in September (December 2010 = 100), the public registry told Trend.
In September 2013, growth was recorded as compared to the previous month at 18.4 per cent and compared to the same period of 2012 which stood at 57.3 per cent. During the reporting period the number of entrepreneurial entities increased by 20.8 per cent, while the number of non-entrepreneurial entities fell by 30.5 per cent compared to the previous month. Another trend recorded was compared to the same period of 2012 where growth of entrepreneurial entities amounted to 56.5 per cent, while the growth of non- entrepreneurial entities was 89.1 per cent.
In September the monthly registration index of business indicated entrepreneurial and non-entrepreneurial entities amounted to 0.986 and 0.953 respectively (December 2010 = 100).
The largest number among the registered business entities fell to individual entrepreneurs (2796 units, or 64.8 per cent of all registered subjects) and companies with limited liability (1375 units or 31.9 per cent).
