Azerbaijani Minister of Economy and Industry, Shahin Mustafayev received on Friday a delegation of Sudan, which took part in the 3rd Baku International Humanitarian Forum, the ministry's press service told Trend on Friday.
Sudanese delegation included the Minister of Investment of Sudan Mustafa Osman Ismail Elami, Finance and Economy Minister Ali Mahmoud Abdul-Rasool, Minister of Science and Technology Eissa Bashari Mohamed, State Minister Mohamed Mukhtar Hassan Hussein and the Sudanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Elias Mohammad al-Haq.
During the meeting Mustafayev spoke in details about the economy of Azerbaijan, the ministry said.
The Minister said the Sudanese delegation's visit to Azerbaijan and the meetings will contribute to the development of relations between the two states.
Sudanese Investment Minister thanked the Azerbaijani government for invitation to the 3rd Baku International Humanitarian Forum. He said that the visit of the delegation to Azerbaijan indicates the value that Sudan attaches to the development of bilateral relations. The Sudanese minister said the country has a great potential in the field of agriculture and mining, and invited Azerbaijani companies to Sudan.
The possibility of the development of economic relations between the two countries was also discussed at the meeting.
