By Emin Aliyev - Trend: The Uzbek foreign economic state enterprise Uzmedexport has announced a tender for the purchase of medicaments for several lots in the maternal and child health programme, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Fund (AZPROMO) said today.
'Azerbaijani entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the tender', a statement said.
The tender participation fee is 100 euros or the equivalent sum in national currency. Bids will be accepted until November 13 and opened on November 18.
According to the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan totalled $10.61 million in January -September 2013. Azerbaijan's export volume to this country amounted to $6.83 million. Products worth $3.78 million were imported into Azerbaijan from Uzbekistan.
