The relationship between Iran and the United States can't be frozen for much longer, head of the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce and Industries Assadollah Asgaroladi said.

"China and Russia are only securing their interests," the Mehr News Aency quoted Asgaroladi as saying.

He went on to note that Iran turned toward China and Russia in a time when the westerns countries were at odds with Tehran, so the country had to accept the friendship of Beijing and Moscow.

Argaroladi also said that during the recent visit of Iran's Majlis speaker to China, the Iranian delegation warned Beijing that Iran's policy of friendship with the Southeast Asian country may change.
He further quoted a saying from Iran's late leader Ayatollah Khomeini as saying that, "One day they (Americans) will understand and accept out rights and then we can restart our relations with them."

"With the government's policies and the support of the Islamic republic's leader we can move toward a constructive agreement with the Americans," he concluded.
