Around 15,710 tons of live cattle worth $39.52 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January - October 2013, the Georgian National Statistics Service said today.
According to the report, the share of this category in the total volume of Georgian exports to Azerbaijan for the period totaled 6.79 percent.
The cattle export volume from Georgia increased by 19.9 percent, but in quantitative terms - by 50.19 percent or 5,300 tons compared to the same period of last year. For comparison, around 10,460 tons of live cattle worth $32.96 million in January-October 2012 were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan.
Goods worth $ 582.38 million or 25.3 percent of the country's total export volume during the period were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January - October 2013.
Exports to Azerbaijan increased by 11.17 percent compared to the same period of 2012. For comparison, Georgian goods worth $523.88 million were exported to Azerbaijan in January- October 2012.
