Frontier Mining LTD has started trading the company's shares on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the company reported last week.

"Frontier will be one of 79 companies listed on the exchange, with the collective market capitalisations in the region of $32 billion," the company said.

This development satisfies the demands of the regulatory requirements of the Kazakh National Bank rules, whereby all Kazakhstan registered businesses, or any business which has more than two thirds of its assets in Kazakhstan, and at the same time holds a foreign listing, must also maintain a listing on KASE.

KASE was founded in 1993 as the joint stock company "Kazakh Interbank Currency Exchange", and was re-registered in 1996 as the "Kazakhstan Stock Exchange".

Frontier Mining Limited is a copper exploration and development company with a focus on Kazakhstan. The company began operations in April 2013. Its main activity is the Benkala Copper Project in North West Kazakhstan, which forms part of the Urals copper gold ore belt. Frontier has a 100 percent interest in Benkala through its subsidiary KazCopper LLP.
