According to the report of the State Insurance Supervision Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance published on its website, Pasa Sıgorta leads the ranking in terms of insurance premiums collected in Jan.-Nov. 2013. Some 13.27 per cent of the total premiums collected during this period accounted for this company.
AzSıgorta which holds10.58 per cent of all premiums in the market and the Azerbaijan State Insurance Commercial Company Azersıgorta standing at 10.25 per cent and are ranked second and third respectively.

Pasha Sıgorta is the market leader in terms of insurance compensation payments. From January-November the company paid almost 25.24 million manats, or over 22.84 per cent of all the compensation during the reporting period.
It is followed by Ateshgah with 13.77 million manats (12.46 per cent of total payments) and Azersıgorta with 11.64 million manats (over 10.53 per cent).
The total amount of premiums of all insurance companies totalled 368.88 million manats in January-November, a 17.86 per cent growth and compensation payments hit 110.48 million manats, a 33.85 per cent growth.
The only reinsurance company AzRe's statistical indices are not indicated in the report.
The official exchange rate on Dec.16 is 0.7844 AZN/USD.
