About 68,600 tons of polyethylene was produced in Azerbaijan in January-November 2013 which is 15.5 per cent more than in the same period of 2012, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend on Dec.18.
The increase in production was observed in all categories of basic types of chemical products in January-November in Azerbaijan, according to the State Statistics Committee.

Around 25,380 tons of solid polyethylene pipes, tubes and hoses were produced in the country in January-November which is 2.6 per cent more than in the same period of 2012. Moreover, about 587.3 tons of polyurethane plates and strips were produced in the country which is 7.7 per cent more than in January-November 2012.
