Over 36.83 million tons of cargo was transported by vehicles in Azerbaijan's territory in January-November 2013 which is 2.03 percent more than in the same period of 2012, according to a report of State Customs Committee.
Cargo export amounted to 28.05 million tons and imported cargo totaled 8.78 million tons, according to the report.
During the first 11 months, the maritime transport exported around 201,610 tons of cargo, rail transport - 2.6 million tons, motor transport - 537,540 tons, air transport - 73,390 tons and transport by stationary vehicles amounted to 24.64 million tons.
Around 1.88 million tons of cargo was imported by maritime transport, 5.13 million tons - rail transport, 1.68 million tons - motor transport, and 16,390 tons of cargo - air transport.
