There is no panic in the domestic market due to the fall of the lari, minister of economy and sustainable development of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
"There is no significant fluctuations. We have with the usual rate fluctuations, and is abnormal would be if we had squandered foreign exchange reserve and retained an unhealthy rate. This is not our goal," - Kvirikashvili said, stressing that there is no anything that alarms rate fluctuations of GEL.
"There is no panic in the market, the National Bank of Georgia factitious does not intervene in the process ," - minister said.
It should be noted that in the past month lari fell from 1.65 to 1.72 lari per dollar. This has already led to an increase of 4-6 cents per liter of gasoline prices and imported products.
