Pasa Sıgorta leads the ranking in terms of insurance premiums collected in January 2014, according to the report of the State Insurance Supervision Service of the Azerbaijani Finance Ministry.
Some 39 percent of the total volume of premiums collected by insurance companies for the period fell to this company.
Atesgah Heyat (13.19 percent of the fees on the market) and Ipek Yolu Sigorta (12.1 percent) ranked second and third.

Pasha Sıgorta is the market leader in terms of insurance compensation payments. The company paid 1.37 million manat in January 2014, or over 17 percent of all the compensation during the reporting period.
It is followed by Ateshgah with 0.96 million manat (11.93 percent of total payments) and Atesgah Heyat with 0.78 million manat (9.65 percent).
The total amount of premiums of all insurance companies totaled 61.131 million manat in January 2014, a 13.38 percent growth per year and compensation payments hit 8.076 million manat, a 15.37 percent growth.
The only reinsurance company AzRe's statistics indices are not indicated in the report.
