Tbilisi, Georgia, Feb. 13

By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend:

Georgian National Energy Regulatory Commission has imposed a 5000 laris fine on 'KazTransGas Tbilisi' for violation of license terms.

This decision was taken at a meeting of the commission on Thursday.

Here the matter rests on violation of the process of accounting of natural gas used by Georgian citizens in December 2013 and January 2014.

This violation resulted in citizens receiving high bills in January.

The meeting was attended by the special manager of 'KazTrans Gas Tbilisi' Irakli Gabunia, who said he did not agree with the commission's decision to impose a fine, and did not rule out an appeal against the decision in court.
