The updated Flipbox let the user to display iPhone, iPad and Mac screens and to install any applications compatible with Windows as well February 18, 2014 Polymedia, Russian systems integrator and software solutions developer, announces the release of an updated version of software for Flipbox intelligent display.
Now users can show not only the screens of their laptops, but also the iPhone, iPad and Mac displays using AirPlay technology that allows simply connecting to a local network were Flipbox is registered in and use the standard features of iOS to connect to the device.
The Flipbox administrator can now set any additional applications that are compatible with the Microsoft Windows operating system, and enable their use on Flipbox. Working in these applications is absolutely safe both for users and Flipbox system.
The new version can also support the following applications: Word 2010, Excel 2010, PowerPoint 2010, Word 2013, Excel 2013, PowerPoint 2013, Skype (except Desktop Sharing), Lync 2010, Lync 2013 (except Desktop Sharing).
The system protection in user state and administrator mode is considerably improved.
