The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has announced a tender for rendering the consultative services as part of the carbamide plant construction project in Azerbaijan, as well as project management, the tender commission said on March 20.
The tender participation fee is 10,000 euros. The tender bids with a bank guarantee to the amount of two percent of their value (from one of the banks operating in Baku and London and having a credit ratings of A -(S & P) or A3 (Moody's), are received not later than 12:00 on May 15 this year.
The bids will be opened at 15:00 on May 16.

The carbamide plant will be constructed in Azerbaijan in 2016.
The new plant will be located in Azerkimya's industrial area in the city of Sumgait. The annual capacity will be about 600,000 tons of carbamide per year (2,000 tons per day) and 1,200 tons of ammonia per day.
Around 500 million euros (excluding taxes) will be allocated from the state budget for the construction of the plant, as the construction is envisaged within the state program on providing the population with food in Azerbaijan from 2008-2015.
SOCAR plans to start constructing a similar plant in Georgia.
