Azerbaijani-Turkish insurance company’s assets slightly increase in 2013

Azerbaijani insurance company Basak Inam Sigorta Sirketi's assets in 2013 amounted to 8.93 million manat increasing by 1.36 percent compared to 2012, according to the company's balance sheet, published in the official press.

The audit of the company's financial statements was conducted by M & J Accuracy Consulting.

The company's long-term assets amounted to 2.24 million manat , short-term to 6.69 million manat.

The company's total capital reduced by 2.28 percent to 6.5 million manat. Basak Inam Sigorta Sirketi's authorized capital remained unchanged at six million manat in 2013.

The company's total liabilities amounted to 2.427 million manat or by 12.57 percent more than in the previous year.

The company's revenues as of 2013 totaled 4.85 million manat, while expenses were 4.69 million manat. The company's net profit as of 2013 was 162,270 manat.

Basak-İnam Sıgorta Sirketi has been operating in the country's insurance market since 1996. It renders 31 types of insurance services. Some 19.95 percent of shares are owned by Zamin bank. Some 48 percent fall to the physical entities, Groupama Sigorta A.Ş. ( Turkish subsidiary of the European largest insurance company Groupama) - 17 percent , Turanbank - 8.5 percent , AzerTurkBank - six percent , Aqrarkredit non-bank credit organization - less than one percent.
