Uzbek National Holding Company Uzbekneftegaz and Korean LG CNS discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of ICT implementation of promising projects and automation of administrative and production processes in that industry, said the message of the holding.
"A number of proposals have been made, where the modern Korean technologies can be adapted in the Uzbek market with the help of local skilled specialists," the message said.
LG CNS is a subsidiary of LG industrial group.
The company provides services in the field of information technology, including consulting, systems integration, network integration, outsourcing of business process and outsourcing information technology. At present, LG CNS is the largest provider of IT-services in South Korea.
Uzbekneftegaz, which was established in 1998 and provides over 90 percent of the hydrocarbon production in the country, is a monopoly operator of the Uzbek oil and gas sector.
Its capacity allows extracting natural gas in the amount of about 70 billion cubic meters and 8 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons annually.
